Spirituality offers you new perspectives, surprises you, and breaks some of the rules.

Three years ago, I heard about aura surgery, spiritual medium(s), and shamans for the first time. And all I could do was laughing and keeping the topics behind me.

The topics just didn’t resonate with me and I didn’t believe they could add any value to my life.

It was too far away from what I thought would be “normal.” I have to admit that I lived a quite “ordinary” life until late 2017.

Severe sickness of my sister and an almost burn-out in my job got me interested in topics like personal development, healing, and alike. …

In my 34 years on this planet, I was blessed by already having an interesting ride. When you look at my CV, you could say that I “made” it — having worked and still working for a TOP company in Germany, founded several (charity) clubs, and was an entrepreneur who failed big time.

But life is more than a CV. At least for me. And it did take me some time to reflect on this. I had to learn it the hard way.

The funny thing is — wherever I look, I want to show others this way, but they seemingly don’t want to listen to what I want to say. …

Facebook launched its stand-alone virtual reality goggles to make this new experience accessible to everyone.

On their website, they state that with their newest technologies, “virtual reality (VR) lets us explore new worlds, defy obstacles, and attempt the impossible.” And Facebook is not the only supplier.

The VR industry is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. It serves companies professionally to better construct products by envisioning the result, but it also has major impacts on our personal daily lives.

Facebook’s vision and application spectrum of VR is vast:

“You can explore outer space, step inside history, and connect with friends. And we can leverage this technology to drive meaningful social change. We’ve partnered with research institutions to better understand how VR can positively impact the way we learn, we’re working to improve access to VR in libraries and schools — and we’re just getting started.” …

Imagine yourself walking into a plane. As always, you will be greeted by the attendants. But this time, you won’t be greeted as a guest because you turn left instead of right. Your turn leads you into the cockpit.

And here is where you belong. And not just for a curious peek but for taking over the pilot stick.

You sit down on the left seat and overlook the scenery. And you will immediately feel the strength, the control, and also the responsibility. For the first time in your life, you will experience that you won’t be a passenger anymore.

Your actions matter. …

The philosophy and psychology behind the pricing of products offer vast fields to study. Entire study scholars are set up for this topic. I like to stick to one quote to simplify the general topic:

“Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.” — Warren Buffett

And companies are very creative in disguising the true value. Often, customers only find out the true value after they bought the product. Therefore, it helps to understand how the companies use pricing in their respective industries.

#1 “product improvements” in cancer medicine

In a congressional questioning, Katie Porter asked Celgene's CEO about the pricing policy for one of Celgene’s top-selling products. …

Over 40% of US Americans are afraid of death. And it is completely understandable as nobody knows what comes after passing away.

The only sure thing is that one day, we all are going to die.

But when nobody knows what will come — who knows if there is not something like a rebirth process? It might also be true that we are all connected through our eternal souls. Many spiritual leaders have different views on this topic.

And their approaches are not only worth acknowledging. They can change how you see your life if you take time to reflect!

And as you reflect on your former belief about death, it might change your view of inevitable death. …

Hi, my name is Daniel. I had and still have an alcohol problem. I am 34 years old and said “NO” to alcohol for one year. It granted me a lot of insights into my character and society.

Contrary to many of my friends, I openly admit that I had and still have an issue with this “liver poison.” It takes courage to speak out the truth — ethanol is a poison you consciously and in full awareness of the consequences consume!

Your body does not produce it by itself, and it does not help your body in any way— besides slowing down the movies in your head. …

2020 is the year of change. Wherever we look, former “happy” couples are breaking up, and marriages are being tested. The reasons for the separations are manifold and, for sure interesting to explore in another article.

But, as you know, the good thing about the past is that it is the past. If you are truly interested in finding a new partner, you might want to pay your attention to three small steps before dating.

This will enhance the chance that the next break-up will come maybe never or earlier when it is not that painful.

#1 overcome the former partner

The first thing to do is to take time to overcome your former partner. At first, you might remember this person in almost any situation. Even the smell of a perfume can derange you in a way that you almost want to cry. …

Easter Island is famous for its moai. These monolithic human figures were carved by the Rapa Nui people on Easter Island.

Most of the stones were erected between the years 1250 and 1500. And there are many of these statues — around 900. It is widely considered a masterpiece regarding creative and physical feat.

And as you can see in the picture above, it is even more interesting that these statues seem to be standing in the middle of nowhere.

There is no large forest or any form of infrastructure nearby.

The statues weigh up to 82 tonnes, standing almost 10 meters tall. How could the former inhabitants have constructed these stones without wood or any “helping material” nearby? …

Currently, you are probably not able to travel as much as you want to. Even if you could travel, there are places around the earth that you are not yet allowed to visit. These places contain the magic that almost nobody can imagine.

They are either spiritual, religious, beautiful, or humorous. By reading these lines, you will maybe think about the places you want to visit in the future (and after COVID-19).

The best memories that come to one’s mind are often connected to moments that take your breath away. …
